I think that these quotes represent my experiences in creating my hypertexts fairly well. In my experiences I have started with a central idea, and then by trial and error broken it down into different sections. Hopefully all these different sections are unique but relate well to each other. They need to stand alone by themselves, but also contribute to something larger.
